CWR News
Hello CWR Readers,
There are some major events in October, listed below are several that we fully support:

National Domestic Violence Awareness Month Hispanic Heritage Month
We encourage all of our readers to support activities in your area to find a cure for breast cancer, to end domestic violence, and in recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month.
Ladies, young and more mature, please conduct regular breast exams, and get a mammogram just to be safe. And young ladies, DO NOT think just because you are young you are not in danger. Take care of yourself and live. And guys, breast cancer also affects men. So if you notice anything unusual, see a physician. Early detection can save your life.
We have included in this issue our special Hispanic Heritage Month insert. The insert includes the feature article "Inside Hispanic America," a Hispanic Heritage Timeline, Profiles of Influential Hispanic Americans of Today, and Notable Hispanic Americans from all time.
In recognition of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, look for special reports each Monday during October from our domestic violence authority, Dr. Jeanne King.
Here are some other highlights from this month's CWR:
- Our fashion section, "Fashion Statements," written by fashion designer and model, Mariana Davelaar, makes its debut.
- We also introduce our financial planning and wealth column,"Building Wealth," written by CPA, Gil Michel.
- If you are concerned about swine flu and the H1N1 virus, John Enright's "CWR Security Focus" article for this month is a must read.
- And couples will find Dr. Alduan Tartt's relationship article, "How to Check A Man," very interesting and powerful.
We are also collecting information for our December Year-in-Review issue, and we invite you to participate. Just go to our survey at the link below. It will only take a few minutes:
