MultiCultural American History
Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow

The United States of America is today, more than ever in its history, a multi-cultural society comprised of people from all over the world.  One of the major priorities of The College World Reporter is to accurately present information about the othe major cultures in our society, African American, Asian American, Hispanic, and Native American.  It is our mission to promote appreciation and respect for the myriad of cultures in our society, and to promote ethnic and gender diversity.

During our first year we were able to present to our readers, with the assistance of many individuals from their various cultural groups, an insight into life as an African American, an Asian American or Pacific Islander, an Hispanic, and the history and contribution of women to our society.  We also promised to present to our readers the Native American culture and we missed doing this during Native American Heritage Month in November, but this will be added during 2010.

We are proud to make this MultiCultural America section of our website available to our readers, which will allow access to each cultural and gender group.  This will be an interactive area once completed that will include a BLOG for each group that will allow readers to ask questions, make comments, and receive answers from our CWR team of multicultural authorities.  We hope you will enjoy this new feature.
