The VCX Gang
Welcome to The CWR Virtual Cultural XChange. We have recruited journalism students from around the world to serve as virtual tour guides for their countries, to help our readers learn from them about their cultures, their people, and their history.
One of the primary goals of The CWR is to encourage multicultural understanding and appreciation, by promoting ethnic and gender diversity. It is the explicit purpose of The CWR Virtual Cultural XChange to provide our readers with knowledge and information about the different ethnic groups that are participating.
The theme of our project is, "A Year In the Life," and we have teamed one student journalist from another country with a student journalist from the United States, and we will follow the development of their relationship during the course of the year.
We have made this an interactive activity and you as a reader can participate by sending your questions to our student reporters, or by visiting their BLOGs and posting your comments or questions there.
